They embody our culture of care, courage, and commitment. Plus, they consistently seek ways to go the extra mile for Iowa Choice Learners and their Families.
Choice Charter Educators deliver more than just instruction—they also provide encouragement and personalized guidance to every Student. By maintaining regular communication with Learners and their Families, our Teachers, Mentors, and Student Support Staff ensure steady progress and can address challenges early. We believe strong engagement between Students and Educators builds meaningful relationships beyond the screen—an aspect imperative to us as we operate 100% virtually!
Mile 3 | Going Farther with Flexibility and Trust
Across the educational landscape, flexibility may seem like a feature. But at our school, flexibility is the foundation of our Curriculum! Iowa Choice Charter School Students can learn from anywhere in the state and at a pace that fits their lives. However, flexibility does not have to mean learning alone! We pair structure, mentorship, and a strong sense of community with our flexible approach to support every Learner.
Interactive digital tools, regular check-ins, and optional in-person meetings help Students in more ways than one. Using these touchpoints, Learners remain connected to their academic aspirations, personal growth, and peers. Not only do our Families appreciate the transparency and accessibility of our model, but our Students also benefit from a genuine sense of belonging—even in a virtual environment.
